For the students last day I showed two movies, National Treasure and National Treasure 2. Books had to be in the day before and we don't give finals (I think we should) so what else is there to keep the kids busy for the day. I planned this perfectly as it took all but 3 minutes of the day to show the two movies.

Kristen managed to get into the drawers where her American Girl Bitty Baby and accessories had to put away. She took everything out and played with it, so I made her gather everything back together and try to put all of the supplies away the right way. She really loved that doll.

Not sure why, but the city decided to start doing work on the road in front of the high school that I teach at just a week before the school year ended. It is already a dangerous place at the end of the day, now it has gotten worse. Why couldn't they have waited. Argggg.

Students who have perfect attendance are allowed to skip the final exams at Clinton High. Sarah has had perfect attendance all year, but I only allowed her to skip this trimester's exams so that she could get ready for her trip to Hawaii.

Final choir concert of the year. Sarah has really enjoyed being in choir this year and was sad to see the year come to an end.

Just found out that this is the last time we will see Sarah wearing the red robe with black stole. Earlier this spring she auditioned for A'Capella choir and just found out that she made it. Way to go Sarah.

The past week has been so hectic and busy that I need several posts to get all of the important stuff showcased. Wednesday the 13th was the final band concert for this year. Sarah has enjoyed playing Clarinet in the Concert Band. The next time she has a concert, I won't be able to hear it as they will be performing at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
