Spent the afternoon and evening with my husband. We don't get too many days to just ourselves. We went to Famous Dave's for supper. Boy was that a lot of food but very yummy. It was nice to have a day to just ourselves.

The phone was ringing and I couldn't find the phone. This happens a lot. One of the girls will use the phone and carry it off. They are not good at putting it back.

My students are working on a project and took a picture of me, working at my desk.

Picking up Kristen from Awana. I have been picking up a child from Awana since Sarah was in kindergarten. That means I have spent the past 10 years doing this on a Wednesday night. There is something to be said for having your kids closer in age.

My students took this picture as they were preparing for a presentation they need to make in 2 weeks about our program. Since I don't have many pictures of me at my work, I thought that this would be a good shot for today.

Sarah had to play in the pep band tonight. She used to help her dad all of the time for girl's basketball games when she was in elementary school. Kristen is so excited to be allowed to now sit on the bench with Kurt and Sarah and assist. Yet another sign that she is growing up.

Today, we learned that it is time to start Kristen's orthodonitic treatments. She goes back next month for x-rays and impressions, then comes the upper bridge, plus two teeth being pulled out. Hoping they can correct a few problems before her permanent teeth come in and maybe she won't need to lose her adult teeth.

When I left for church this morning, I noticed that there was water running down the sidewalk. It still was running down the sidewalk when we got home, so called IA/American water. They sent a crew out to investigate. After about 7 hours they are still looking for the break in the line. They did say that it wasn't our line (good news there). Said they had the same problem this morning with another break and discovered the break 35 feet from where the water was bubbling up. I hope they get done before bedtime as the whole house is shaking as they try to dig up the street.
